1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ScriptWEAVER (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including those on free plans during Alpha.

2. Description of Service

ScriptWEAVER is an AI-assisted development tool designed for Roblox Studio. It provides autonomous code generation, file editing suggestions, multi-model AI access, and session management through a Roblox Studio plugin. The Service is in Alpha and may have bugs, downtime, or feature changes without notice.

3. Alpha Status

ScriptWEAVER is currently in Alpha. This means:

• The Service may be unavailable or unreliable at times.
• Features may change, be removed, or not work as expected.
• No uptime guarantees or SLAs apply during Alpha.
• We appreciate your patience and feedback.

4. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ScriptWEAVER. By creating an account, you represent that all information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate or distribute malicious code
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• Circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
• Use the Service to violate Roblox's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
• Impersonate ScriptWEAVER, Wren, or our team in any context

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions.

6. Ownership of Generated Code

Any code generated through the Service using your inputs belongs to you. ScriptWEAVER does not claim intellectual property rights over output generated in your sessions. We do not use your code or session content to train AI models without your explicit opt-in.

7. Service Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. During Alpha, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users of major changes via email or in-app announcements, but cannot guarantee advance notice for all changes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT GENERATED CODE WILL BE CORRECT, COMPLETE, OR FIT FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCRIPTWEAVER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS (OR $0 IF YOU ARE ON A FREE PLAN).

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You consent to exclusive jurisdiction in Hennepin County, Minnesota for any disputes arising from these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We will notify you at least 14 days before implementing material changes to these Terms. Continued use of the Service after notice constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

1. Who We Are

ScriptWEAVER is a software company based in Maple Grove, Minnesota, USA. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our Service.

2. Data We Collect

Account Data

• Email address (required for account creation)
• Hashed password (never stored in plain text)
• Display name (optional)

Session Data

• Prompts you send to Wren
• Tool call logs (list_files, read_file, write_file, etc.)
• Generated diffs and approved/rejected decisions
• Model tier used per session
• Timestamps and session duration

Usage Analytics

• Page views and feature interactions (anonymized)
• Browser type, OS, screen size (aggregated)
• No device fingerprinting. No cross-site tracking.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate the Service
• To display your History and Logs panels
• To debug and improve reliability
• To send transactional emails (session summaries, security alerts)
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for targeted advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your session content to train AI models without explicit opt-in.

4. Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act (MCDPA)

Under the MCDPA (effective July 31, 2025), Minnesota residents and all ScriptWEAVER users have the following rights:

• Right to Know: Know what data we collect and why.
• Right to Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
• Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal data.
• Right to Portability: Receive your data in a portable format.
• Right to Opt Out: Opt out of targeted advertising (we don't do this) and data sales (we don't do this).
• Right to Appeal: Appeal any data decision we make.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@scriptweaver.example.com. We will respond within 45 days.

5. Data Retention

• Account data: retained while your account is active + 30 days after deletion
• Session data: retained per your plan's history policy (7–90 days)
• Analytics: aggregated and anonymized, retained indefinitely

6. Third-Party Services

We use AI model providers (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI) to power Wren. Your session prompts are transmitted to these providers in accordance with our data processing agreements. These providers are prohibited from using your data to train their general models.

We use industry-standard security practices: TLS in transit, hashed passwords, access control. See our Security page for details.

8. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact privacy@scriptweaver.example.com and we will delete it.

What Cookies We Use

ScriptWEAVER uses a minimal set of cookies and local storage for functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Strictly Necessary

• sw_session — Session authentication token. HttpOnly, Secure. Expires with session or 30 days if "Remember me" is checked.
• sw_csrf — CSRF protection token. Required for secure form submissions.

Functional (localStorage)

• sw_theme — Your dark/light theme preference. Stored in localStorage.
• sw_analytics_events — Local analytics buffer (up to 50 events). Not shared.

Analytics

We use lightweight first-party analytics only. No Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no fingerprinting libraries. Analytics data is anonymized before storage.

How to Manage Cookies

You can clear cookies and localStorage through your browser settings at any time. Clearing session cookies will log you out. Clearing sw_theme will reset your theme preference to the default.

• A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification
• Your name, address, phone number, and consent to jurisdiction in Hennepin County, Minnesota

Repeat Infringer Policy

ScriptWEAVER will terminate accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances.
